Rovers held to scoreless draw by bottom side Bray
Bray Wanderers 0 Shamrock Rovers 0
Bottom side Bray frustrated Shamrock Rovers at the Carlisle Grounds, though the point is enough to move Hoops up to third in the table as both Sporting Fingal and Dundalk were beaten.
Bray were the better side in the first half with Alan Mannus making a good stop to prevent John Mulroy putting Wanderers in front just before the break.
Robert Bayly twice came close for Rovers in the second half.
Bray had defender Shane O'Connor sent off for pulling back Billy Dennehy on 81 minutes, but held out for a rousing draw.
