Horn blowers will respect shoot-outs: LOC

The World Cup’s local organising committee (LOC) is confident that vuvuzela-blowing fans will respect the tension of penalty shoot-outs once the tournament reaches the knock-out stages.

The constant drone of the African horns has been a big feature of the tournament but could prove a distraction to anyone taking a spot-kick in a pressure situation from the last 16 onwards.
