Gascoigne 'comfortable' after car crash

Former England international Paul Gascoigne was in a "comfortable condition" in hospital today after he was injured in a car crash.

The former Tottenham player, nicknamed Gazza, was sitting up in bed and chatting to visitors last night but was not expected to be discharged for a few days, a hospital source confirmed.
