Stalemate at Terryland Park
Galway United 2 Bohemians 2
Champions Bohemians twice came from behind with ten men at Terryland Park to salvage a point against bogey side Galway.
Bohs defender Brian Shelley was sent off on 18 minutes for pulling down Karl Sheppard. Stephen O'Donnell shot home the resultant spot kick.
In-form Paddy Madden, who scored a hat-trick in the cup on Sunday, levelled for Bohs on 70 minutes.
But Galway restored their lead four minutes later when Tom King was left unmarked in the box to rifle home.
Incredibly, Bohs hit back immediately when Madden was credited with a fluke as Galway keeper Barry Ryan's clearance struck him and ricocheted back into the net.
