Sligo face fully fit UCD with doubts over striker
UCD take on Paul Cook’s Sligo Rovers in tonight’s Airtricity League Premier Division clash at the UCD Bowl, kick-off 7.45pm.
Students boss Martin Russell has a fully fit squad to choose from and welcomes Brian Shortall back from suspension.
Sligo are boosted by the return of Danny Ventre, Alan Keane and Eoin Doyle for the clash with UCD.
The trio missed the 1-0 win over Athlone Town in the FAI Cup because of suspension.
Matthew Blinkhorn, once again, misses out because of injury, while there are doubts over striker Padraig Amond and defender Gavin Peers.
Amond and Peers picked up knocks against Athlone and will undergo fitness tests ahead of the game.
Centre-half Mauro Almeida remains out as he is a long-term absentee.
It will be the first time the Students and the Bit o' Red clash this year, with the fixture in the first round of games postponed because it clashed with the Setanta Cup
