James Chambers scored twice as Rovers survived an early scare to ease into the fourth round of the FAI Ford Cup.

Dessie Baker headed home a Sean O'Connor cross to give Rovers a fourth minute lead.

But Gary Sheahan levelled for First Division Youths nine minutes later to silence the home crowd.

Gary Twigg restored Rovers lead when getting his head to Danny Murphy's cross on the half hour.

Midfielder Chambers then got his first five minutes into the second half when a poor defensive header falls to him and he drills the shot home.

Chris Turner finished off a Baker cross to make it 4-1 on 70 minutes with Chambers getting his second two minutes later after Thomas Stewart flicked on another Murphy cross.
