Kuduzovic scores winner for Dundalk

Fas Kuduzovic booked Dundalk’s place in the semi-finals of the EA Sports Cup as they came from behind at the RSC tonight.

First Division Blues snatched the lead following a frenetic attack on 33 minutes.

Vinny Sullivan’s chip to the back post was initially missed by Kiely. But Liam Kearney gained possession to bring a parry save from Peter Cherrie and Kiely shot home the rebound.

But Dundalk levelled in the final minute of the half.

Wayne Hatswell headed Alan Cawley’s cross back across goal from midfielder Stephen Maher to shoot home from close-range.

Striker Kuduzovic then won it for the Premier Division leaders on 66 minutes when his shot struck defender Paul Carey to loop over keeper Chris Konopka and into the net.
