Furious Eto'o threatens to withdraw
Cameroon striker Samuel Eto’o has threatened to pull out of the World Cup after being criticised by legendary countryman Roger Milla.
Inter Milan forward Eto’o has reacted angrily to the 1990 World Cup star’s assessment of his performances for the national side and has told France’s Canal Plus Sport he may walk away from the tournament altogether.
“Is it worth me going to the World Cup?” Eto’o said.
“I still have a few days to think about it but I will see if my participation is important because I don’t need this in my career.”
