Sligo hit five past bottom-of-the-table Bray

Having hit a hat-trick a fortnight ago, Padraig Amond helped himself to a brace as Sligo thumped bottom side Bray at the Showgrounds.

Sligo took the lead after just nine minutes when Bray keeper Brian Kane flapped at a corner kick and Amond pounced to fire home.

Eoin Doyle doubled Sligo’s led on 21 minutes when put through one-on-one with Kane to score.

John Russell made it 3-0 on 40 minutes before Amond added his second a minute before the break.

Ex-Cameroon international Joseph Ndo got his first goal for the club to complete the rout on 53 minutes.

John Mulroy provided Bray's consolation goal in the final minute.
