Bottom of the table Bray blew a 2-0 lead as managerless Drogheda staged a battling comeback at the Carlisle Grounds.

Bray floored Drogheda with a quick fire double minutes before the interval.

Jake Kelly broke the deadlock on 44 minutes when shooting home from close range.

Scarcely had Drogheda drawn breath and they were 2-0 down in first half stoppage time when Shane O’Neill got through one-on-one with keeper Paul Skinner to score.

Bray had Shane O’Connor sent off on 53 minutes for a foul on Joe Kendrick, his second booking.

That signalled Drogheda's revival with Eric McGill pulling a goal back on 79 minutes before Kendrick earned them their point with a penalty six minutes from time following a handball by Colm Tresson.
