Villa on brink of Barca switch

Spain striker David Villa has passed his medical at Barcelona and will complete his move from Valencia this afternoon.

The two Primera Division clubs agreed a fee of €40m for the 28-year-old on Wednesday, subject to a clean bill of health from the Barca medics.
