McCarthy to stick with tactics

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has vowed not to compromise his side’s Barclays Premier League future by giving in to the critics who have scorned his so-called negative tactics at Molineux this season.

McCarthy watched his side round off their first season back in the top-flight with a 2-1 win over Sunderland yesterday which secured them a final finishing position of 15th – eight points clear of the drop zone.
