Birmingham defender Roger Johnson has been charged by the Football Association with two counts of improper conduct relating to comments made to the media after last month’s 1-0 loss at Aston Villa.

The Blues were charged with failing to control their players following the angry scenes near the end of their derby defeat, sparked by referee Martin Atkinson awarding a penalty against Johnson for a challenge on Gabriel Agbonlahor.
