Robbie Fowler has signed on as Perth Glory’s marquee player for next season after resisting overtures from A-League champions Sydney FC.

The 35-year-old’s future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks after the financial collapse of his former club, North Queensland, rendered his previous two-year contract void.
