Dundalk beat champions to stay joint top

Assistant player manager Wayne Hatswell was the Oriel Park hero as Dundalk took the scalp of the champions to remain joint top of the Premier Division table.

Flagging Bohs shaded possession but were undone by the game’s only strike on 77 minutes.

Ross Gaynor’s inswinging corner was headed goalward by Garry Breen and fellow defender Hatswell bundled it over the line.

Bohs have now not won in five games and trail the leaders by seven points, though they have a game in hand.
