Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has announced his retirement from international football after admitting he is still haunted by the attack on the Togo team during this year's African Nations Cup.

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has announced his retirement from international football after admitting he is still haunted by the attack on the Togo team during this year's African Nations Cup.

The attack, which happened as the team travelled to Angola for the start of the competition, saw terrorists open fire on the team bus in the Cabinda region.
