Dundalk will be looking to maintain their impressive start to the season when they take on UCD at Oriel Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Ian Foster’s side remain unbeaten in the league and a win over UCD could see his side sit joint top of the table on Friday night if other results go in their favour.

Foster must, once again plan without midfielder Alan Cawley, who is recovering from a fractured cheekbone.

Tiarnán Mulvenna will also miss out as the striker remains out with a knee injury.

Former Finn Harps striker Sean Houston comes into the UCD squad, while Chris Mulhall is also in contention for a place after recovering from a dead leg.

Otherwise, manager Martin Russell will use the same squad that was used in last week’s home draw with Galway.

Goalkeeper Billy Brennan took a knock in the Dundalk game but is fit to continue and Ger Barron, who has recovered from his pre-season injury, is likely to be on the bench.
