Clarets fine McDonald for half-time walk-out

Burnley have fined midfielder Kevin McDonald after he left Turf Moor without permission at half-time in Saturday’s 6-1 defeat to Manchester City.

The club announced the punishment today, with McDonald also apologising for his “naive” and “disrespectful” behaviour.
