Spurs agree deal to sign Brazil international

Tottenham have agreed a deal for Brazil international Sandro to join the club from Internacional in the summer, subject to a medical.

Spurs have been chasing the midfielder since last summer and Inter announced overnight that a deal had been agreed for the 21-year-old.

Manager Harry Redknapp confirmed this morning that the Premier League outfit were on the verge of completing the deal, and the club later announced an agreement had been reached.

“We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Internacional for the transfer of Sandro to the club, subject to the player passing a medical examination,” read a statement on www.tottenhamhotspur.com.
