O'Neill gives Sporting first win of season

Gary O’Neill scored twice as Sporting Fingal got their first win of the season at the Carlisle Grounds.

Former Wanderer Eamon Zayed, on his first start, took 15 minutes to open the scoring when he drilled past keeper Brian Kane as Bray slumped to a third successive defeat.

O’Neill doubled Sporting’s lead eight minutes after the break when scoring from Ronan Finn’s cross.

Shane O’Neill gave Bray hope with a goal back on 75 minutes.

But O’Neill sealed the win with his second of the night nine minutes from time.
