Bray trio injured for league opener
Bray Wanderers take on Dundalk at the Carlisle Grounds in their opening fixture of the new campaign, kick-off 7.45pm.
For Wanderers, Dave Webster is out with a knee injury, while Dave O'Neill and veteran Colm Tresson are also out injured.
New signings Robbie Doyle and Richie Baker will be in line to make their Airtricity League debut for Eddie Gormley’s side.
Looking ahead to the new season Bray boss Gormley said: “The players have worked very hard and I would be optimistic that they will apply themselves well in the Premier Division."
Dundalk will be without the services of injured striker Tiarnán Mulvenna (knee), but otherwise a fully-fit squad will travel to Bray.
New Dundalk midfield Alan Cawley is looking forward to facing his old side and the new season ahead.
Cawley said: “It’s most important to get a win on the first day of the season or a good result anyway. I think it’s really important to get off to a good start, especially with the pre-season we have behind us."
