Pompey to go into administration tomorrow

Balram Chainrai, the owner of Portsmouth, today served notice that the club will go into administration unless new owners can be found by tomorrow, a statement on the club’s website has confirmed.

Manager Avram Grant had earlier said he had been “more or less” told the club would go down that route.
