Everton defender Phil Jagielka has been included in the squad to face Sporting Lisbon tomorrow in the Europa League.

The 27-year-old has not featured for the first team since rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee against Manchester City last April.

Jagielka is standing by as Sylvain Distin (suspended), John Heitinga (cup-tied) and Tony Hibbert (hernia) are all unavailable. Philippe Senderos is struggling with a back problem but has travelled.

Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini are also sidelined with calf and ankle injuries as Everton look to build on a 2-1 first leg victory in the last 32.

Provisional squad: Howard, Nash, Turner, Baines, Yobo, Neville, Coleman, Senderos, Jagielka, Duffy, Arteta, Osman, Pienaar, Bilyaletdinov, Gosling, Rodwell, Baxter, Donovan, Yakubu, Anichebe, Vaughan, Saha.
