Two youngsters tasked with marshalling Celtic defence
Celtic manager Tony Mowbray was forced to pair teenagers Josh Thompson and Thomas Rogne at the heart of his defence for the SPLclash with Dundee United at Parkhead.
The Hoops’ boss was restricted in options due to injuries and suspensions although right-back Andreas Hinkel came in to replace Paul Caddis after recovering from a thigh complaint.
With Aiden McGeady suspended, Ki Sung-Yueng took over in midfield.
United welcomed back captain Andy Webster, Mihael Kovacevic and Damian Casalinuovo, with Darren Dods, Pavels Mihadjuks and David Robertson dropping out.
