Sol Campbell made his Arsenal return in their FA Cup fourth-round tie at Stoke.

Campbell, back for his second spell with the Gunners, was named in a much-changed line-up that included teenagers Francis Coquelin, Craig Eastmond and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, who spent the early part of the season on loan at Blackpool.

Boss Arsene Wenger included only Cesc Fabregas and Denilson from the side that beat Bolton in midweek.

Stoke, who are believed to be on the brink of clinching the signing of England goalkeeper David James, made three changes from the side that drew with Liverpool last weekend, with Danny Collins, Glenn Whelan and Ricardo Fuller in the starting line-up.

Stoke: Sorensen, Huth, Shawcross, Higginbotham, Collins, Delap, Whitehead, Whelan, Etherington, Sidibe, Fuller.

Subs: Simonsen, Lawrence, Beattie, Pugh, Diao, Sanli, Wilkinson.

Arsenal: Fabianski, Coquelin, Campbell, Silvestre, Traore, Eastmond, Denilson, Fabregas, Walcott, Emmanuel-Thomas, Vela.

Subs: Mannone, Rosicky, Eduardo, Ramsey, Arshavin, Bartley, Frimpong.

Referee: Martin Atkinson (W Yorkshire)
