Preston trail to Anelka strike at the break

Nicolas Anelka put Chelsea in the driving seat at Deepdale in their FA Cup fourth round tie against Preston.

Anelka made the breakthrough in the 36th minute with a fierce drive after getting goal-side of Youl Mawene.

Preston, however, almost equalised but Darren Carter found the wrong side of the post from close range.
