Chelsea make six changes for FA Cup game
Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti made six changes to his side for this afternoon’s FA Cup fourth round tie at Deepdale.
Following the 7-2 victory against Sunderland, goalkeeper Hilario returned as well as Paulo Ferreira, Alex, Yury Zhirkov, Deco and Daniel Sturridge.
Sturridge was paired up front with Nicolas Anelka against the Coca-Cola Championship side.
It was Darren Ferguson’s first home game as Preston manager and he recalled Michael Hart, Youl Mawene and Billy Jones to the team.
Preston: Lonergan, Hart, Mawene, St. Ledger, Davidson, Sedgwick, Chaplow, Jones, Carter, Wallace, Brown.
Subs: Henderson, Collins, Chilvers, Parkin, Mellor, Barton, Mayor.
