McLeish set for new Birmingham deal

Birmingham are set to offer a new contract to manager Alex McLeish after he expressed a desire to sign an extended deal with the midlands club.

Blues chief executive Michael Dunford confirmed owner Carson Yeung and the new board at St Andrew’s want to “tie down” McLeish and his backroom staff on a long-term basis.
