Waterford United have confirmed the signing of Liam Kearney from Derry City.

Waterford United have confirmed the signing of Liam Kearney from Derry City.

The former Irish Under-21 international midfielder was the subject of interest from a host of clubs in Ireland including many Premier League outfits.

He will link up with former USA Under-23 interntaional keeper Chris Konopka and former Irish Under-21 international Gareth Cambridge as Blue's boss Stephen Henderson's third new signing ahead of the 2010 season.
