Evans quits Bolton role

Chris Evans has quit as assistant boss at Bolton after rejecting the prospect of working under new manager Owen Coyle.

Coyle took charge of Bolton on Friday, taking up the reins from Evans who had served as caretaker boss following Gary Megson’s exit at the end of December.
