Bolton prepare Coyle approach

Bolton will this morning make an official request to Burnley to speak to their manager Owen Coyle about the current vacancy at the Reebok Stadium, according to sources.

The Clarets are bracing themselves for an imminent approach from Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside, who is understood to have already sounded out Coyle about a move at a meeting in Glasgow yesterday.
