Caldwell back for Celtic

Gary Caldwell returned from suspension to take his place in the Celtic defence for the Old Firm derby at Parkhead.

Stephen McManus dropped to the bench along with striker Scott McDonald, with Marc-Antoine Fortune starting in attack alongside Georgios Samaras.

Rangers boss Walter Smith had to contend with the loss of forward Kenny Miller through suspension and defender Madjid Bougherra to international duty.

Youngster Danny Wilson came into defence to partner veteran skipper David Weir. Steven Whittaker came in for Miller but started in midfield, with Kyle Lafferty pushed up front alongside Kris Boyd.
