Shawcross sidelined for Stoke

Stoke will be without Ryan Shawcross for tomorrow’s home FA Cup third round tie against York with the defender serving a suspension following five bookings.

Full-back Andy Wilkinson is also a doubt with a muscle injury as boss Tony Pulis considers making changes against the Blue Square Conference promotion chasers.

Stoke will be able to give run-outs to squad players, while Michael Tonge and David Kitson are both back from loans at Preston and Middlesbrough, respectively, and could figure.
