Johnson awaits scan results

Liverpool and England fans face an anxious wait to see how long Glen Johnson’s injury will keep him out of action.

The club’s medical team yesterday revealed the injury which forced the right-back off after 88 minutes of Tuesday’s 1-0 victory at Villa Park was medial ligament damage to his right knee.
