Ferguson dismisses tapping up claims

Former Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has admitted that he was disappointed with Barry Fry’s claims that he had been “tapped up” in the aftermath of his departure from London Road – and has also declared an interest in the vacancy at Sheffield Wednesday.

Former Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has admitted that he was disappointed with Barry Fry’s claims that he had been “tapped up” in the aftermath of his departure from London Road – and has also declared an interest in the vacancy at Sheffield Wednesday.

Director of football Fry made the claim in a press conference following Ferguson’s surprise exit in November but Ferguson insists that there was no truth in the claim at all.
