Injury means six-month lay-off for Real's Pepe

Real Madrid defender Pepe is set for six months on the sidelines after it was confirmed today he has suffered knee ligament damage and needs surgery.

Pepe was stretchered off just prior to half-time in last night’s Primera Division encounter with Valencia after landing awkwardly following an aerial challenge.
