Drogba comes back to face Porto

Striker Didier Drogba was back in the Chelsea side for their Champions League Group D clash against Porto in the Estadio do Dragao.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti had originally planned to leave the Ivory Coast international on the bench but he had recovered sufficiently from a chest injury to play from the start.

Yury Zhirkov replaced Ashley Cole at left-back with Deco, Ricardo Carvalho and Michael Ballack all recalled to the side as expected.

Porto left Brazilian striker Hulk on the bench and experienced goalkeeper Helton failed a fitness test on an injured ankle so Beto continued in goal.
