Miller has calf scan

Republic of Ireland midfielder Liam Miller was tonight undergoing a scan on a calf injury which could rule him out of his country’s World Cup play-off clash with France.

The 27-year-old will be assessed tomorrow, but could be sent back to club Hibernian if he is unable to take his place in the squad.
