The Republic of Ireland are training in Malahide, Co Dublin this morning as they commence their preparations for the visit of France to Croke Park on Saturday.

Irish boss Giovanni Trapattoni has no major injury concerns amongst his squad ahead of the most important game in recent Irish football history.

Meanwhile French coach Raymond Domenech is hopeful that Thierry Henry will start the game after making his return to action for Barcelona last week.
