Ryan Guy scored a vital winner as St Pat’s came from behind tonight to keep their hopes of avoiding a play-off with Drogheda alive.

James Chambers shot home Brendan McGill’s cross to give Drogheda the lead on six minutes.

But Saints turned the game on its head inside five minutes after the break.

Former Drogheda skipper Declan O’Brien levelled on 49 minutes minute when heading home Garreth O’Connor’s cross.

Guy then hit what proved the winner when O’Brien set him up to shoot past Paul Skinner.

Drogheda had midfielder Chambers sent off in the final minute for a foul on Guy in the final minute.
