Four changes for Celtic

Celtic manager Tony Mowbray made four changes to his team for their Co-operative Insurance Cup quarter-final tie against Hearts at Parkhead.

Celtic manager Tony Mowbray made four changes to his team for their Co-operative Insurance Cup quarter-final tie against Hearts at Parkhead.

Mowbray dropped strikers Scott McDonald and Georgios Samaras from the side which beat Hamilton 2-1 in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League on Sunday.

Danny Fox replaced Lee Naylor at left-back, Landry N’Guemo and Marc Crosas came in to the midfield with Barry Robson dropping out and Zheng Zhi pushed up to support lone-striker Chris Killen.

Hearts made one change to the side which drew 0-0 with Falkirk in the SPL at the weekend, midfielder Ian Black replacing Suso Santana who failed to find a place on the bench.

Celtic: Zaluska, Hinkel, Caldwell, McManus, Daniel Fox, McGeady, Crosas, Zhi, N’Guemo, Maloney, Killen. Subs: Cervi, McDonald, Samaras, Wilson, McCourt.

Hearts: Balogh, Craig Thomson, Bouzid, Goncalves, Wallace, Obua, Black, Michael Stewart, Palazuelos, Driver, Nade. Subs: Kello, Jonsson, Witteveen, Kucharski, Glen.

Referee: C Thompson (Scotland)
