New blow for Burley as duo pull out

Darren Fletcher and Alan Hutton have pulled out of George Burley’s Scotland squad to play Japan in Yokohama on Saturday, taking the total number of withdrawals to 10.

Manchester United midfielder Fletcher and Tottenham full-back Hutton have been replaced in Burley’s already depleted squad by Norwich’s Stephen Hughes and Don Cowie of Watford.
