Maloney out of Japan clash

Celtic’s Shaun Maloney has withdrawn from the Scotland squad for the match with Japan and has been replaced by Dundee United’s Scott Robertson, the SFA have confirmed.

Scotland boss George Burley had already lost Danny Fox, Robert Snodgrass, Kevin Thomson and Garry O’Connor from the squad for Saturday’s friendly game in Yokohama.
