Loovens appeal date set

Glenn Loovens will have his appeal against a one-match ban heard before Celtic’s next match.

The Celtic defender will miss the Clydesdale Bank Premier League visit of Motherwell on October 17 if he loses his fight to overturn the suspension imposed by the Scottish Football Association for his clash with Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu last season.
