Sligo move to top of Cup group
Cliftonville 2 Sligo Rovers 3
Rob Turner scored twice as Sligo came from behind at Solitude to move to the top of Setanta Sports Cup Group 1 on goals scored.
Liam Boyce gave Cliftonville the perfect start with the lead goal after just ten minutes.
But Sligo hit back with Turner levelling 15 minutes later before the striker gave Paul Cook’s side the lead five minutes before the interval.
In an entertaining game, Cliftonville hit back to equalise on 67 minutes through Jason Bannon.
Sligo responded well and were rewarded with the winner six minutes later when Dean Marshall found the net.
