Only one injury worry for Rovers
Shamrock Rovers can return to the top of the table with victory against Bohemians at Tallaght Stadium tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
Ian Bermingham (ankle) is the sole absentee as Rovers are otherwise at full strength for the derby against Bohs.
Hoops boss Michael O’Neill said: “Pat Sullivan is back from suspension, while Paddy Kavanagh, Sean O’Connor and Darragh Maguire are all fit and available once more.
“We expect it to be a tight game, these games usually are like that. But we’ve done it here before in Tallaght against Bohemians, coming from behind to win a game.
“We’re looking forward to the game as the players are enjoying being in this position. We’ll be approaching the game against Bohs with a lot of confidence.”
Bohs displaced Rovers at the top on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory away to Derry City.
Bohs manager Pat Fenlon said he was "delighted" with the win in the Brandywell, which came through a first league goal from young striker Paddy Madden.
Fenlon has no injury concerns ahead of the game.
He will, however, miss three midfield players through suspension. Gary Deegan, Anto Murphy and Killian Brennan will all sit out the game.
Fenlon is under no illusion about the task on Friday night, but feels there is still a long way to go.
He said: “It’s a big game, but there’s still plenty of football to play afterwards. Rovers is always a big match, and it's even bigger now that both of us are at the top of the league.”
