Convincing win for Dundalk

Dundalk equalled their biggest win of the season to consolidate fifth place in the table.

Striker Alex Williams put Sean Connor’s Lilywhites deservedly in front three minutes into the second half when shooting home after Shaun Kelly headed Chris Turner’s corner back across goal.

Dundalk hit the woodwork twice before Michael McGowan added a second on 84 minutes when rifling home after a good run down the left wing.

Darren Mansaram got the third four minutes later when heading home Turner’s cross.
