Chief executive Ian Watmore has confirmed the Football Association will take a "good close look" at two incidents involving Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor during yesterday's 4-2 win over Arsenal at Eastlands.

The former Gunners forward courted controversy by running the length of the pitch to taunt the Arsenal fans after scoring City's third goal, having earlier appeared to stamp on former team-mate Robin van Persie, leaving the Dutchman with a gashed face.
