Hull striker Daniel Cousin could be on his way to Barclays Premier League rivals Burnley after the player’s agent claimed an approach for a loan deal had been made.

Cousin was a regular in the Tigers’ side which escaped relegation last season, but has fallen out of favour with Phil Brown after refusing to shake his manager’s hand following his substitution in the 5-1 defeat to Tottenham.

The Gabon international has not played in the three games since and it appears Burnley are preparing to take the striker to Turf Moor.

“I think they have put an offer in for a loan,” Cousin’s agent Willie McKay told the Lancashire Telegraph.
