Stokes in Hibs debut

Anthony Stokes was handed his Hibernian debut in today’s Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at his former club Falkirk.

The Republic of Ireland player, who signed from Sunderland yesterday for an undisclosed fee, replaced David Wotherspoon, whose debut goal against St Mirren last week was not enough to keep him in the side.
